Parish Council Summary Minutes
June 20, 2016
Your Parish Council continues to work to bring the STM and OLGC parish communities together. June meeting was the last meeting for the 2015-2016 year. Very successful year combing the two councils together. Parish Council voted during the meeting for 13 new members to join the Parish Council for the 2016-2017 year. Great turnout for candidate nominations. Candidates exceeded slots available on the council. Parish Council voted and elected Alicia Damley as President and Maureen Young as Vice President for the 2016-2017 year.
Looking ahead to September 2016, the Parish Council to reviewing the past years events/activities and with assistance from Alex Miller, new Program Director, analyzing on how to improve and possible add events/activities for 2016-2017 calendar.
Thank you to all that served on the 2015-2016 Parish Council. Your work and services to the parishes is greatly appreciated.

Your Parish Council continues to work to bring the STM and OLGC parish communities together. Parish Council has approved council bylaws for the merged parish. Nominations are being accepted for parish council 2016-2017 until May 31, 2016. New members will be voted on at the June 20, 2016 meeting.
The Making All Things New (“MATN”) Committee will be chaired by Marcelle Devine. The clusters for MATN have now been condensed, with OLGC/STM included in Cluster 11 along with St. Ignatius Loyola, St. Francis de Sales, St. Joseph (Yorkville), and St. Monica’s. The next meeting shall be held on June 1st at 6:00pm at OLGC. Please contact Father Madigan should you be interested in becoming part of the Committee.
Youth involvement continues to develop well through our monthly sandwich-making events. Youth participation from local schools has increased at the Saturday Morning Breakfast Program. Both parishes are working to identify more activities for the youth.
